The Battle in the Mountain State tournament, we like to refer to as the sister event to the Diamond Duel tournament, is nothing short of its name. This event has become second largest event for the Tournament Time Sports™ baseball ball schedule. This is a very sought after tournament and space is limited, so we suggest you register early.
The tournament format is a three (3)-game guarantee. With two (2) pool play games and seeding into a single elimination bracket which allows each team to have their strongest pitching come bracket day. You will need it facing some of the most respected programs from OH, MD, PA, KY, VA and WV.
. This event will be a USSSA Super NIT event and points will be awarded accordingly.
In order to particapate in a USSSA sanctioned event each team must be registered with USSSA. If you have not already done so you can click the link below to register your team or teams.

Rule Modifications:
- Temp logs turned in before first game of each day
- Uncompleted payment team will not be listed on the schedule.

- No metal cleats on Portable mounds
- NO sunflower seeds COVID -19 Restrictions
- 8 1hr 15min
- 9-12U 1hr 45min
- 13-HS 1hr 50min
- minimum 15min Lightening delay
- Forfeited games will result in 7-0 victory to winning team
- 2 spectators per player
- Cannot enter facility must set outside of outfield fencing. COVID -19 Restriction

Coach, we know occasionally you may need to make a special schedule request. If that is your case it must be submitted by this form below two weeks prior to the tournament start date. All entry money and gate fee must be paid at the time of the request. Schedule request will not be honored if not done in this format.

Concussions are on the rise in youth sports. There is no win worth the safety of a child or adult. With more awareness on this subject Tournament Time Sports™, has implemented a concussion policy that must be followed in the event a child or coach would receive a concussion during any particular event. Heat Exhaustion can be fatal. Sometimes the systems go unnoticed until it is to late. Please hydrate BEFORE the event and STAY hydrated during the event. Click that link below on symptoms and tips for heat exhaustion:

Tournament Time Sports takes the safety of players, coaches, spectators, staff and all those involved in our events very serious. We have adopted the following Return to Play Policy along with state and local guidelines.
Social distance and mask are encouraged.
Tournament Time Sports will charge a minimum administration fee equaling 10% of your entry fee, for all refunds. If you call on or before 20 days in advance prior to tournament date you will be refunded 75% of your entry money. If you call on or before 12 days in advance prior to tournament date you will be refunded 50% of your entry money. If you call inside the 12 day window or after schedule and brackets have been posted there will be no refund given. No refunds or transfer of funds from tournament to tournament.
